Bifm sponsors & participates at the 2023 Botswana Pension Society Conference

Bifm participated at the annual Botswana Pensions Society conference. The main objective of the Conference is to promote retirement industry knowledge amongst pension fund members, trustees, service providers and the public.

This year’s event attracted various key speakers, including the Bifm Investment Analyst for Fixed Income, Mr Mbaki Mudlovu, CFA, who gave a presentation on how well-regulated environment tends to promote better investment performance.
Mbaki highlighted Bifm’s aim to continue playing a meaningful role in developing the local pension fund industry, as the retirement landscape is ever evolving and requires such collaborations to better understand and serve.

This is the 17th year in a row that we have supported this forum, and it has proven to be an enlightening platform for our Stakeholders and Trustees. We are committed to contributing to such information sharing platforms, and we look forward to the 2024 Botswana Pension Society Conference.
