Bifm participates at the National Financial Literacy Seminar

We are excited to have participated at the National Financial Literacy Seminar, hosted by Ignytwealth. The seminar was themed ‘‘Financial inclusion and literacy’’. The event served as an information-sharing platform, exchanging information & thus highlighting opportunities for the youth of Botswana and entrepreneurial development.

Ms. Thato Kgasa will formed part of the panelists at the event. Ms. Kgasa has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. She joined Bifm in 2016 as a Retail Investment Specialist. In her current role as Retail Manager, she’s responsible for the Bifm Unit Trusts department including the growth of the Bifm UT assets under management, as well as the day-to-day operations of the business unit to ensure Bifm UT delivers on its commitment to serve clients better. Thato Kgasa was also a part of the team that established the Bifm Unit Trusts distribution segment in 2017.

Ms. Kgasa holds a BCom Financial Management Sciences degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of Free State, South Africa.
